Soon after My Méz turned one in 2013, Samir and Akanksha started thinking of ways to give back. In Fall 2013 they identified Edesia as their Charity of Choice for the 2013-2014 year. They donate $10 from each retail table sale to Edesia to support their efforts against global malnutrition. These dollars help provide severely malnourished children with Edesia’s US-made, ready to use food called PlumpyNut. My Méz contributions to Edesia between September-December 2013 have been enough to save 4 children from severe acute malnutrition!
